| | Song Story | As I read from Mark Abley`s book "Spoken Here" (which discusses languages that are in danger of extinction), the Australian Aboriginal language Tiwi uses the word "purinjiti" (originally meaning "message stick") to mean all sorts of communication, especially faxes and telephones. Similarly, this composition, crossbred as it is between Delius` (and my own) romanticism and a sort of "New Age" approach sends a message of hope that we will be able to make use of the wonders of all cultures in our global village.
